DESCRIPTION:We currently find ourselves at the beginning of comprehensive d
 igital and green transformations towardsan increasingly digital\, climate-
 neutral and sustainable economy and society. As a G7\, we want to act aspi
 oneers to protect the climate and the environment and to accelerate a digi
 tally enabled sustainable globalenergy transition. The German Federal Mini
 stry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action has thereforeinitiated an exc
 hange of G7 partners and their respective stakeholders on the subject of s
 tandardisation inthese areas\, taking place under the activities of the Di
 gital Ministers’ Track under Germany’s G7 Presidencyin 2022.\n \nBuil
 ding on the virtual Expert Workshop “Strengthening G7 Coordination on Su
 pporting InternationalStandardisation for the Digital and Green Transforma
 tions” held on 27 April 2022\, BMWK is planning a highlevelMulti-Stakeho
 lder Conference with G7 partners and representatives from governments\, in
 dustries\,standards organisations\, academia and civil society on the subj
 ect of “Standardisation – a strategicinstrument for climate action and
  the global digital energy transition” to be held\n \non 7 September 20
 22 from 12:00 to 15:30 CEST (UTC+2)at the Federal Ministry for Economic Af
 fairs and Climate Action\, Berlin.\n \nThe event will take place in a hyb
 rid format.\n \nBMWK cordially invites the G7 partners to forward this sa
 ve-the-date to their respective stakeholders\,encouraging them to actively
  take part in the conference.\n \nPlease find the draft agenda for the co
 nference here. An invitation and further information for registered partic
 ipants will follow closer to the conference.\n \nPlease register to parti
